News from Eline, Chernihiv. Medicine in short supply.

Dear friends,
Only around 90.000 people from 280.000 before the war stay in Chernihiv. All other had to leave their houses and move during bombing and shooting.
Some areas are completely destroyed. Without electricity and water people cook on the fire in the backyards.
Business doesn’t work and city doesn’t receive taxes money, says mayor Владислав Атрошенко. Chernihiv needs help.
The war is not over and with such a neighbor you never know what can happen any minute.
A big volunteer network works in the city. They help people with food and goods.
But huge problem is medicine. First of all special ones. Thanks to hard work of our volunteer Татьяна Николенко insulin was delivered to the city.
Enterprise Sanofi Aventis has provided 196 packages of insulin, each consisting of 3 doses, for the Chernihiv regional hospital.
Most sincere gratitude goes to Oleksandr Nosonovych who has made this life-saving delivery possible!
Transportation of insulin demands proper conditions. Thank you to Татьяна Яворская and team for coordination and delivery such an important medicine.
Today volunteers delivered generators, food, special equipment all over Chernihiv. Many thanks to all teams of Александр Котенко Дмитрий Ткаченко Xena Kudr , Sokoliki and Andrij Pilipenko.
To volunteers team of Chernihiv also joined brother Leopold from Netherlands. He was so shooked by war and situation in our city that after bringing the help to polish border he went to Chernihiv. Thank you @Broeders St.Jan van Utrecht for supporting the city.
Father Karel and team Karel Stautemas picked up from the polish border mother and a son from Bucha. Now they are on the way to Belgium.
Stay safe and Slava Ukraini.

The work goes on

The house of Sonia and Igor was hit by four artillery shots and totally destroyed last year. Fortunately they were in a safe place with their daughter Nikita at the time, and Igor is a professionnal builder. Couragously they worked tirelessly with the help of BoMozhemo, and here they are putting the floor and the electricity. It is a grace to share these days with them, sorting out bricks salvaged from the ruins, crushing them with a sledgehammer for cement or putting the greenhouse back together with its promise of borsch, and other traditional vegetable dishes.

FOLLOW-UP OF OUR NOVEMBER MISSION

Thanks to your gifts, a tremendous work has been accomplished under the leadership of Sacha to bring some comfort to some of the most hardest hit by the hardships of the war. Another part of the donation was used to buy the materials needed for the fixing roofs, floors and walls. No more suitable work to keep us warm in the Chernihiv winter.

TIME TO GO BACK

Work is now completed in Yevgueni and Tania's house. But so many people are still exposed to the cold in bombed houses. With your generosity, we hope to go back and show them that they are not alone in the tribulation, that the victory is where there is hope and solidarity.
